Our Antenatal Midwifery Team

Junee

I’m Junee and I’ve worked at Waterford for 3 years. I love meeting women and whanau from all walks of life. It’s a great privilege to assist parents in getting to know and care for their baby in those first few days. I enjoy learning and supporting everyone’s individual cultural traditions around birth and transitions into parenthood. You’ll might also bump into see me downstairs teaching antenatal classes. I look forward to meeting you!

Jessica

Jessica is Hamilton born and bred. She’s been a Midwife for 10 years and a mum of Hazel for 2 years. She undertook a long IVF journey as a solo mum by choice. She’s passionate about physiological pregnancy and birthing but also has considerable experience in the hospital environment. Jessica is fun and engaging to listen to and especially loves empowering families to shape their own journey by providing unbiased information.  You're in a few laughs and a great class with Jessica

Jess

Hi, my name is Jess. I have been a midwife since 2015. Originally from England however, immigrated to New Zealand with my husband back in 2018. We haven't looked back since. I'm now a busy mum of two young beautiful children.
When I'm not juggling life at home I work at Waikato hospital providing high risk shared care to women and their whanau.
Having the opportunity to teach expected parents this new journey of life is a passion of mine. My aim is to provide education in a relaxed, non-judgmental and informal atmosphere to make you feel prepared as you transition in to new parents. As well as having a laugh and making some new connections.

I look forward to meeting you all in my classes.
